Yes, indeed. It’s the 144th Annual Cowichan Exhibition, September 7th-9th, 2012, at Cowichan Exhibition Park. The theme for this year’s exhibition is “Bounty of the Valley”, and organizers have put together another action-packed, fun-filled event celebrating agriculture, farming and community in the Cowichan Valley.

As proud tree farmers, PFLA is pumped to participate. We’re setting up our info booth and look forward to connecting with farmers, growers, families and community members as passionate about the bounty of the Cowichan Valley as we are.

Because nothing says fun quite like propelling green vegetables down a plywood ramp, PFLA is honoured (not to mention over-the-top excited) to sponsor the 2nd Annual Zucchini Racing Competition.

That’s right. We’re sharpening saws, measuring angles and hammering nails to put together another world-class ramp for the big event. We’re also studying velocities, polishing trophies and honing our skills to bring you the highest calibre race day officials this island has to offer.

Ladies and gentlemen start your…zucchinis! Check out the PFLA Facebook page for more photos from last year’s event (and perhaps some inspiration).

See you at the fair grounds!
